- Track rental inventory and asking rents across a whole region for a market-rent analytics product.
- Build a pet-friendly or furnished-only rental finder using boolean amenity filters.
- Feed a rental arbitrage screener with bed/bath ranges and rents to compare against short-term-rental revenue.
- Filter by moveInDate for a relocation service matching tenants to units available on their start date.
Frequently asked questions
How do I search US rentals by ZIP code or city?
Resolve the place into a regionId with the autocomplete endpoint first, then call this endpoint. If you only hold a ZIP code or city name, use the location-based rental search instead — it accepts the string directly.
Can I filter for pet-friendly, furnished or utilities-included units?
Yes. Pass comma-separated codes in booleanFilters, such as dogs_allowed, cats_allowed, is_furnished or utilities_included; verify the filter on a small sample before scaling up.
Why do apartment buildings come back as a range?
A building row carries rentalExtension with bedRange/bathRange — the spread of bedroom and bathroom counts across its units — rather than fixed values for one unit.
