Search Recently Sold Homes by Region

View all Redfin Property Data endpoints →

Closed-sale comps inside a Redfin region. Pass a regionId from property-auto-complete, a soldWithin window (7, 30, 90, 180, 365, 730, 1095 or 1825 days) and optional price, size, lot, year-built, pool, financing, HOA-fee, property-tax, school-rating and score filters. Rows follow the same homeData shape as the for-sale search (propertyId, url, beds, baths, sqftInfo, lotSize, addressInfo), so sold results join cleanly onto live listing data for comp analysis.

API Features

Time-windowed comps soldWithin restricts results to closings from the last 7 days up to the last 5 years.
Same schema as live listings Sold rows share the homeData structure of for-sale results, so one parser covers both pipelines.
Comp-grade filters Match subject properties on beds, baths, square feet, lot size, year built and school ratings before trusting a comp.
Region-stable paging A fixed regionId plus page/limit makes neighborhood trend snapshots reproducible over time.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get historical sale prices for US homes?

This endpoint returns a batch of recently closed homes by region plus a soldWithin window. For one property's own full sale and tax timeline, use the sale-and-tax-history endpoint.

How large can soldWithin be?

Eight steps are supported: 7, 30, 90, 180, 365, 730, 1095 and 1825 days — from the last week to the last five years. Shorter windows give fresher samples, longer ones more volume.

Can sold results be joined onto live listing data?

Yes. Both result types share the homeData structure and propertyId keys, so longitudinal joins need no extra mapping.
