Frequently asked questions
How can an overseas-buyer platform plug into live US listing data?
Call this endpoint with a city name or ZIP code for the current for-sale list, then use the returned propertyId/listingId pairs with the detail and estimate endpoints to fill in fields — enough to render listing cards and detail pages on your own site.
Which is more precise, a city name or a ZIP code?
A canonical city string ('City, ST, USA') or a ZIP code both work, and school-district names and street addresses are supported too. The more canonical the input, the more stable the results; when unsure, normalize through the autocomplete endpoint first.
Can I search for-sale homes by school district?
Yes. Pass the district name directly as location, or find a result whose searchType is Schools in the autocomplete endpoint and chain from there.
