Find a person's event appearances

View all Crunchbase Company & Investment Data endpoints →

Look up events where a person is listed as a participant, including speaking appearances. Supply the required person query parameter as a Crunchbase person permalink, UUID or person-profile URL. The optional role filter accepts sponsor, speaker, exhibitor, contestant or organizer. The optional page parameter defaults to 1 and supports values from 1 to 100. No endpoint-specific live response is available in the supplied evidence. An unverified documentation example contains count, current_page, per_page, total_pages, next and previous as pagination fields, with next and previous null in the example. The person object contains id and uuid. The items array contains participation records with id, role, event, participant, event_location, event_starts_on and short_description. The event object contains id, link, name, type and uuid; participant contains id, image, link, name, type and uuid. event_starts_on is a string in the example, while event_location and short_description are null. These example fields are not a confirmed runtime schema. Use the returned event references for follow-up event research. A listed appearance does not establish complete attendance history or confirm participation in a future event.

Frequently asked questions

Which person identifiers can I use for an event lookup?

The required person parameter accepts a Crunchbase person permalink such as sam-altman, a person UUID or a crunchbase.com/person/ profile URL. A plain display name is not a documented identifier format.

Can I return only events where the person was a speaker?

Yes. Set role to speaker. The other documented role values are sponsor, exhibitor, contestant and organizer. Omit role when you do not want to request one specific participation role.

How do I page through event appearances?

Use the optional integer page parameter, with a documented default of 1 and supported range of 1 through 100. The unverified example includes count, current_page, per_page, total_pages, next and previous, but the supplied evidence does not establish a fixed event page size.

Are event dates, locations and descriptions guaranteed?

No. The unverified documentation example shows event_starts_on as a string and event_location and short_description as null. No endpoint-specific live response has confirmed field availability, completeness or the date format.

Does an event listing confirm an upcoming appearance?

No. Treat the result as a listed participation record for background research, not as confirmation of upcoming attendance or a complete record of every event the person attended.
