Get Accounts That Reposted a Tweet

View all X (Twitter) Public Data API endpoints →

Provide required id as the public tweet ID to request available accounts that reposted it. Optional cursor takes the next_cursor value returned by a previous page for the same tweet; this continuation field is documented, but this endpoint's full response shape has not been live-verified. Validate account fields and unavailable-post behavior before joining to profile data. Returned reposters are a collected sample, not a guaranteed complete amplification graph or evidence about quote posts and likes.

API Features

Tweet-selected reposter lookup Required id identifies the public post whose available reposting accounts are requested.
Documented reposter next_cursor The cursor input is explicitly described as accepting the response next_cursor for subsequent pages.
Amplifier-to-profile enrichment path Validate returned account identifiers before using profile endpoints to contextualize observed reposters.
Repost-only evidence scope A reposter collection does not by itself identify likes, quote-post authors or every path of information diffusion.

Frequently asked questions

How do I request the accounts that reposted a tweet?

Send required id for the public tweet. The documented optional cursor accepts next_cursor from a previous page for that same tweet. Account fields and the full response shape still need live validation before profile enrichment.

Does this collection include likes and quote-post authors?

Those relationships are not established by a reposter lookup. Treat returned accounts as observed repost participation, not a complete amplification graph or evidence about likes and quote posts.
