Get Posts from a Public List

View all X (Twitter) Public Data API endpoints →

Supply required list_id as the string ID of a known public X List. Optional cursor continues available posts from that same List. A List timeline is a collection associated with curated member accounts, not a personalized home feed. Exact post fields, response pagination keys and private or unavailable-List behavior have not been live-verified. Retain the List ID and collection time, validate returned tweet identifiers before deduplication and do not assume complete membership activity or full historical coverage.

API Features

Curated-List content selection list_id targets a specific List rather than a username or a keyword search query.
List-specific feed context The described collection supports observing curated-account activity without pretending to be a personalized home timeline.
List timeline cursor input Optional cursor supports further available List posts after continuation response keys are validated.
Source-preserving List collection Retain the List selection and collection time, then validate tweet identifiers for deduplication and downstream citation.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to read a public List timeline?

A known public list_id is required; optional cursor continues posts for the same List. The collection concerns curated member accounts rather than a personalized home feed. Validate post identifiers and output pagination fields before parsing.

Does a List timeline contain all historical member activity?

No full-history or complete-membership-activity guarantee is established. Exact fields and unavailable or private-List behavior are unverified. Keep the List ID, collection time and coverage notes with the returned sample.
