Why does room-price lookup require both hotelId and entityId?
hotelId identifies the property, while entityId identifies its search destination. Preserve the association from destination and hotel searches rather than interchanging the IDs. Also supply future, ordered stay dates and optionally adults and currency.
Is the room amount a tax-inclusive total, and does requesting it hold inventory?
Do not assume either. Offer fields, nightly versus whole-stay basis, taxes and terms have not been independently verified. Inspect actual pricing explanations and retain the original currency. This read-only lookup neither locks a price nor reserves a room, and it does not establish complete room or seller coverage.
