View all Football Data API endpoints →Request the score read for one event ID as a candidate source for an individual match's score component. Requires eventid from a fixture or search result. Frequently asked questions
What must I obtain before requesting an individual score?
Choose a real eventid from match search or fixtures. A team ID cannot replace a match ID.
Are extra-time and penalty scores included?
The dedicated response has not been demonstrated. Inspect actual score fields and period semantics; a zero value alone is not proof of a final result.
Is this a guaranteed low-latency live score service?
No update-latency, push or refresh-frequency guarantee is established. Control polling and caching in your application and interpret scores with validated match states.
