Find Public Profile Candidates by Name
View all Facebook Public Data API endpoints →Provide query and optionally cursor to request documented people-search candidates. This endpoint has not been sampled, so profile fields, result shape and identity matching are unverified. Treat every result as a candidate for human confirmation, not proof that a particular person owns an account. Use public-figure or opted-in creator discovery within appropriate permissions; no private contact details, sensitive-attribute inference or identity verification is promised.

Use Cases
- Help a public-speaker directory review candidate profile links submitted by its contributors.
- Reconcile an opted-in creator name with visible profile candidates under human supervision.
- Evaluate ambiguity among same-name profiles before accepting a directory match.
- Design a discovery flow that requests identity confirmation before attaching profile data to a person.
Frequently asked questions
Can I directly associate a same-name account with the person?
No. Results are candidates requiring human checks against known context, submitted links, confirmation by the person or other appropriate evidence.
Does people search provide private phone numbers or email addresses?
No such capability is promised. Do not use it to enrich private contact information or infer sensitive traits.
Are the people-search result fields established?
No independent sample has been obtained yet. Validate the envelope, profile fields and continuation method first.
