Read Public Profile Photos

View all Facebook Public Data API endpoints →

Provide profile_id to request publicly visible profile photos. Optional cursor and collection_id inputs are documented; preserve any returned collection context when assessing continuation. This route has no sampled response, so exact photo fields and whether collection_id is needed for a particular next-page request must be validated. Limit use to a permitted public or creator-authorized purpose. Public visibility does not grant image reuse rights or access to private albums.

Use Cases

Frequently asked questions

Does profile-photo continuation also require collection_id?

The parameter is available, but the exact continuation input combination has not been validated. Preserve returned context and test it rather than directly applying the Page-photo rules.

Can I read private albums?

This is not promised. Use the endpoint only within public visibility and appropriate authorization.

Can returned photo references be used directly for partnership promotion?

Separately confirm image rights and creator permission. A public reference does not automatically permit promotion, redistribution or training use.
