Get Ad Details with Archive and Page Context

View all Facebook Public Data API endpoints →

Provide the matching ad_archive_id, page_id and two-letter country for a public advertisement. The sampled search-ads response supplies archive and advertiser IDs, but this detail endpoint itself has not been sampled. Validate its exact response layout and available creative fields before using it for enrichment. Keep the three inputs associated with the same advertisement; a public ad lookup does not grant campaign-editing access or guarantee spend and audience statistics.

API Features

Three-part ad context Combines an archive identifier with its advertiser Page and selected country.
Search-to-details linkage Archive and Page IDs were observed in ad search and can seed a validated follow-up lookup.
Contextual detail alternative Offers the contextual lookup to try when the documented ID-only convenience route is unreliable.
No private ad-metric promise Creative research does not imply access to advertiser spend, audience or campaign administration.

Use Cases

Frequently asked questions

Why do ad details require an ad ID, a Page ID and a country?

This endpoint locates an ad using ad_archive_id, page_id and country together. Use matching values from the same ad record rather than mixing in another advertiser.

Is the detail structure always the same as ad search?

Not necessarily. The detail endpoint has not been independently validated. Inspect the actual envelope and creative fields before linking records.

Can ad details retrieve spend or modify an ad?

No such capability is promised. This is a public-information read, not ad management, and private performance metrics are not guaranteed.
